STRESS RELIEF TOOLKIT SERIES

Breathe, Move and Release

September 28 - November 16

Monday evenings

7:15 - 8:15pm

This is a virtual 8 week yoga stress relief tool kit where you will learn to release tension through breath work, movement and restorative poses. The series will focus on key areas of held tension: shoulders, back and hips. By the end of the session you will have the yoga tools to use to address your stress. This series is held through Zoom. Sign on at 7pm to socialize and catch up with your fellow yogis before class begins.

Props needed: a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap or long scarf, 3-4 blankets or pillows

THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND SO HAS PRACTICE

Over these last few months during all the uncertainty my yoga practice has changed. I have been gravitating away from my faster vinyasa practice to a nurturing practice with more mindful attention to turning on my muscles and releasing stress. I have found that this has been a healing balm during all the uncertainty. I want you to have your own stress relief toolkit. The series will include postures, meditations, breathing techniques and moments of reflection so you can experience what works for your physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
