I’m creating this forum page for anyone who wishes to share why they are practicing yoga or for whom. I often invite students to set an intention for their practice and some like to dedicate their practice to a person or cause. It’s up to you if you wish to share. I have been dedicating this past 8-week yoga session, Stress Relief Tool Kit, to my dear friend Dee. Dee and I met taking yoga at Maple Lawn in 2009 and became fast friends. Dee is just an amazing woman, caring, generous, thoughtful and always helping others, as anyone who knows her can attest. Even though she moved to California several years, we remain frequently in touch. Two months ago she told me she has advanced liver cancer. At the start of every class, I set an intention to keep her uplifted and strong and help her get through this. Anne‘s classes are the perfect forum. I always feel a spirituality and peaceful presence in her classes, which I know come from her beautiful aura and all of yours. Your fellow yogi, Loretta.
